I have been in the process of trying to quit for several months now. I am going to the doctor in an hour as a matter of fact to get on Chantix after I found out that my insurance covers it. My smoking buddy at work took it and hasn’t touched a cigarette since. Another lady at work had her husband get on it two days ago and I finally bit the bullet myself. I always thought I could put them down and never touch them again until I actually tried to do it. Growing up I HATED being around cigarette smoke, especially being involved in sports. My step-dad and grandparents were chain smokers and I just couldn’t stand to be around it. My grandparents both came down with pneumonia at the same time and hasn’t touched a cigarette since. That was about 8-9 years ago now. I, on the other hand, picked them up while hanging around friends and partying and just can’t seem to put them down. The road to recovery may be a rough one, but well worth it in the end. My wallet and my health will GREATLY benefit!
